The Restaurant
Italian and Swahili cuisine
The restaurant, open on three sides, overlooks the tropical garden and the beach. It features a beautiful local boat: a restored "dhow" on which is served the breakfast buffet (If you don’t like to prepare by yourself); candles at the tables and some suggestive backlit handcrafted wooden masks help to create an intimate atmosphere; our dishes, mainly based on fresh fish, try to combine the best of Italian and Swahili cuisine. You can also enjoy a variety of exotic fruits with an extraordinary flavor and a selection of international wines, among which the truly excellent South African ones stand out.
Once a week we organize a suggestive evening beach BBQ with grilled fish and “the Must”(you can’t miss!): the Swahili dinner, with specialties offered in traditional terracotta pans on the restaurant's "dhow", decorated with woven leaves tablecloths made for the occasion.
