The Surrounding
SAND BANK AT LOW TIDE: Ten minutes walk from the property at left side facing the sea during low tide, appears an amazing sand bank reacheable following a path (in fron of Serenity Villas) where you can lie down on the incredible white sand caressed from the shallow water or walk searching for starfish.
PAJE BEACH: Paje is a wonderful beach, very famous for kite surfers. It's 25 minutes walk on the beach
JAMBIANI VILLAGE: Jambiani is an authentic fisherman village, just 800 mt from The Coco Paradise. The legend tells that the first people to settle here found a dagger (in Arabic: 'jambya') in the sand, and then called their settlement 'Jambiani'. The unique and seductive charm of Jambiani is evident and the villagers are most friendly to their visitors. It is definitely not hard to feel at home here. A short walk through the village is good proof of this as almost anyone, young and old, greets you Karibu/Welcome or Jambo/Hi, where ever you go. You must go if you want to have the feeling to be in Africa.
KUZA CAVE: 1.8 Km. From Villa de Coco. Kuza Cave is an ancient limestone jungle cave with crystal clear turquiose fresh water. The area around the cave is a peaceful nature preserve for wildlife that includes Red Colobus Monkeys, colourful butterflies, many birds, chindi and bush babies. Swim in the healing fresh water. Enjoy the peaceful jungle. See artefacts from the cave and a timeline of Swahili history going back to the beginning of our story as humans originating in East Africa.
